Now that the final showdown is posted (but not finished) and both heroes have reached their peak of power, Finn and Leah can be comparable. These versions of them, at least. Apart from being more underrated than Ron Weasley (no small feat), both can make a great team because their skills complement each other. So, how does my version of Leah surpass Finn and vice versa?

Leah: Physically stronger

The most basic asset in a fight is strength. How hard can someone hit the enemy. While Finn is pretty strong and can hold his own against a vampire unarmed, Leah, even without her wolf form, can punch out many vampires and demons, rip the jaws of a demon off and even hurt Alastor with her punches, who is in a much higher level than Leah or Finn. Finally, she beat a Sue, Takara, with one punch, while Finn had to use his head.

Finn: Arsenal

The main reason Finn can catch up to Leah's physical strength is not his own, not even close. It's his weapons. Leah's weapons are a wooden stake, Garlic Bombs and a steel pipe (recently upgraded to a titanium crowbar)... two of which are only very effective at a single type of monster. Finn, on the other hand, has detonators, a real lightsaber, a blaster he knows how to use very well and a Microwave Beam. The blaster alone is superior to Leah's arsenal.

Leah: Agility

The Force allows Finn to enhance his speed and dodge attacks a normal person can't, and can even sense the movements of vampires and werewolves and counter their attacks. But Leah is actually faster than a normal vampire or werewolf in human form, which combined with her aforementioned strength allows her to perform rapid-fire fisticuffs as her main attack. She also gains the ability to give a punch so fast it is stronger than normal and emits a sonic wave. In wolf form she is even faster and can even attack up to seven enemies without even being seen at full speed!

Finn: Range

Leah's Sonic Overdrive and Garlic Bombs are ranged, but not very powerful, and she relies mostly on her very strong melee attacks. Her speed can, however, allow her to catch up to ranged fighters and punch them out, but she still mostly has to reach her enemy to strike, it's just easy to do so. Finn, on the other hand, can benefit from long ranges, since the weapon he is and always was best at is the blaster. He is skilled with his lightsaber, but not to the level of other Jedi, however few can compete with his blaster skills. And even without the blaster, the Microwave Beam and especially the Force allows Finn to fight very well from a distance, even guide his detonators in a straight line and push his enemies backwards to not let them get close.

Leah: Regeneration

Both warriors are very durable, Finn moreso in comparison to his own species, but nearly equal. However, being a werewolf, Leah has something that can let her last longer. Being a werewolf, she can regenerate health over time far faster than a human, even during combat. Coupled with her velocity, it makes her very hard to kill, as a lucky hit hardly ever sticks. This has saved her life more than once against enemies. Finn simply has no such thing.

Finn: No obvious weaknesses

Finn is not without his weaknesses. Unarmed he can't fight the enemies who are easy to him normally, and his compassion has backfired more than once. Leah might be far stronger without her weapons, and some weaknesses like overspecialization to vampires are even overcome later, but she has a fatal combination of two: Aversion to silver and not a lot of ranged attacks. Which means enemies made of silver, which can burn her on contact, limit her skills to less than a quarter of them for her to get through.

Leah: Wisdom

Finn comes from a Galaxy far, far away. He knows a lot about the Empire and First Order, but these are not the enemies he faces in this story. In fact, the first enemy his prior knowledge helps him against is the Loyalist, who has a fighting style known to his Galaxy. Leah, on the other hand, knows everything about the primary enemies, the vampires, and against them she is the most effective fighter in Stormwolf. Also, being an Earthling, she knows a lot about Earth in general.

Finn: Intelligence

Yes, he is naive and yes, Leah is wiser about Earth and bloodsuckers. Leah also has moments of intelligence, such as as when she overcomes her weakness to silver, lures Takara to get the only hit Leah needed and the entire Armilla fight, and more, but Finn is even smarter. Not only does he usually beat her at chess, he can adapt even faster than her and knows when not to fight. He also is good with mind games, being able to sometimes guess what his enemies will say next, and even when he fails he can still improvise! And, finally, he is completely immune to mind control. Says a lot really.

Leah: Transformation

In New Timeline, Finn can transform to literally nothing. Leah, on the other hand, can transform into a wolf. This allows her to do many things, like getting herself and Finn (who can't pilot but can ride) through long distances, increase her strength and speed further, and even has special abilities like the fearsome Seven-Sided Strike.

Finn: The Force

Here it is. The true reason Finn can catch up to Leah and his high-level current enemies. The reason he has special abilities equal to Leah's. It all started in Exegol, when he used it to immediately pinpoint the weakness of the entire enemy fleet, managed to sense the elite Sith Troopers and fight them off with no injuries and end up taking out the entire fleet and saving the whole Galaxy. Since then, he trained. And trained. And trained. He does not have all Force abilities, not even half of them, but he can sense enemies behind him, the very fast and without smell vampires, guide his projectiles to home on enemies, increase his reflexes to the point he can keep up with monsters and use a saber well and lift objects too heavy for him otherwise.

In durability and special abilities they are so close there is no clear winner.
Yesterday, I wrote the first part of the final showdown!

The stars are Finn, Leah and Rey, confronting their hardest challenges yet.

They will have to face their worst fears.

Features also the last Stu and an old enemy returning.

Next chapter, the final battle.
Because Midnight Sun is going to be finally released and I received negative criticism for adding Leah in a story bc she is a Twilight character (which is laughable in context), I have to say this.

Twilight is not good. Could be, but is not. However, I see people hating on it without having read it once. Just jumping on a bandwagon, listening to the masses. That's actually pretty damn stupid.

If you want to know why these series are bad, read them. Don't just hate without knowing why they are bad.

I hate Twilight primarily for the same reason I don't like Reylo fics. All this worldbuilding... to glorify and whitewash abuse and murder, among other things! These series might teach you things like:
Stalking is love!
Suicide is a good response to your abuser leaving you!
Falling for a child is totally ok if you can't control it!
Only you and your mate matter, everyone else can go fuck themselves!
If you break the law, you can call everyone in the world and they will defend you because you are the protagonist!
If you are not the protagonist, you can't think for yourself!

Below are our three protagonists!

Bella Swan, the extremely passive, whiny, misanthropic human, later vampire. Her reaction to her transformation? She became a glorious immortal! SHE REJECTS HER HUMANITY, JOJO! She believes she is pathetic because of her humanity, but snubs her fellow humans, even her father, and sees them as inferior. This is supposed to be a good role model. Oh yeah, and she considers the actions of Edward and Jacob love, wanting to die when the former left.

Edward Cullen. One of the most DISGUSTING male leads I have seen in my life. He watches Bella while she is sleeping. He had eaten people, showed little remorse. He has no problem with others eating people. He feels nothing for people not named Bella. He abuses her, forbids her to leave and even wrecks her car. We are supposed to root for this guy. Also, he has little problem with Jacob harassing Bella.

Jacob Black. How I LOATHE this werewolf. He supposedly is part of a pack that protects humans from vampires. When he becomes Alpha, he has no problem having vampires eat humans. He sexually assaults Bella, and nobody deserves to be raped. Not even rapists. But sexual harassment and treason is not the worst part. It's that he wanted to murder the baby of Bella and Edward... only to fall in love with the creep. No, I am serious. He is in love with a baby! This is supposed to be good. In fact, he loves the baby so much that he would leave his own pack to die to save her skin. He is a selfish coward.

Twilight could be a modern Beauty and the Beast. Alas, it is not. It's a fest of abuse apologism. And that's its real problem. Romanticised abuse, not the sparkly vampires.
But it's time for that to end. Some readers watch me to see Sues getting grilled.

Oh well, now it's about time. The squad is whole again, ready to chew bubblegum, kick ass and run out of bubblegum.

This time, the Sues are Meyer's Egyptian Coven. For those who don't know, we have: Amun, the leader. Only values others for their power.

Kebi, his mate. Doesn't like Amun's obsession with Benjamin.

Benjamin, the strongest vampire made by Meyer. He controls all four elements and can think for himself.

Tia, Benjamin's mate, thinks before she speaks.

The development I gave to this coven:

Benjamin, knowing Amun is just using him for his power, decides to use that power for himself. With his fire manipulation, he manages to murder Amun easily. Kebi tried to defend Amun, but also died.

Benjamin and Tia are now the new leaders. After the Black Legion took over the world, the coven became the absolute authority of Egypt, with Benjamin becoming Pharaoh. The only ones allowed to disagree with him are high-ranking demons and the monsters who speak for them.

Ben, after striking his true enemy and taking his place, uses now his powers to serve himself. And this includes oppressing and eating people. He is, however, an ally of the Black Legion.

Can the Resistance put an end to his reign of terror once and for all?
Power: 0/10(human), 7/10(vampire), 10/10(vampire, in her head)
Influence: 10/10
Vileness: 8/10

Oh, one very classic Sue. Bella is regarded by many as a self-insert and reader-insert... and that's a big insult to women.

Really, who would relate to someone who hates their own species, is abused and loves it, is a dick to their parents and the readers could probably beat in a fight?

She sets a standard for weak women. She is a jerk to people who actually care about her and try to help her, and downright spineless to people who abuse her. When her abusive boyfriend leaves her, she tries to lure him back by going to potential rapists or attempts suicide. Genius.

She also does nothing but whine about being a human and mortal for 3.5 whole BOOKS. Woe to anyone who wants to cheer her up.

Her whole life revolves around Edward. The vampire who wants first to drink her blood, watches her in her sleep and wants to read her mind, and also is very very abusive. And she considers all of this true love.

Of course, it's not just stupidity. She has an evil plan that includes Edward. Soon, she will be a vampire, beautiful, powerful, immortal! She won't be stuck in a human body! She will no longer die from old age! She will have all the power in the world! She will ascend to godhood by sacrificing her soul! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, people who sell their souls because they want power and immortality are not heroes.

And yet, despite being a nice guide about how girls should NOT behave, she somehow has the boys flocking around her. Of course, they are a manipulating misanthrope and a sexual deviant, so I suppose evil attracts evil? She is considered the center of the world, just like Rebora, only at least Rebora DOES things to back it up, like killing the main antagonist. We are also told that Bella is selfless, but she uses men to gain immortality... selflessly!

At least her series provide a likable character, Leah, who is treated like shit for the crime of hating Bella.

While Bella is, again, loved by everybody and considered a paragon of virtue while acting like a villain.

Likes: Whining, bitching, taking without giving a thing, immortality, Edward, being the center of the world, vampires, power.
Dislikes: Doing things, her humanity (if she ever had any), other humans, being ignored, blonde women, old people and age.
Would love to point out: These aren't OCs.

Leah Clearwater is my female lead.

In her canon she was abused verbally a lot and had no friends, all because she didn't believe supernatural bonds are true love. She hates abusers and abusive relationships, especially if they are supernatural and overwrite free will. In my crossover verse, she was bitter until she met Finn, who treated her as a person and, despite her protests, still risked his life and saved her from Aro and the Volturi twice (she repaid the favor during that fight). She slowly developed a crush on him and teases him sometimes, but mostly wants him to be happy. She also cares a lot about humans and werewolves, but hates vampires and demons.

She is a werewolf, used to be the fastest in the pack before they were wiped out for child molestation. Her speed is supernatural even for her species, while she has the normal strength of a werewolf. Weak to silver, very experienced against vampires. She started unarmed before earning a wooden stake for vamps and a steel pipe for unusual enemies.

"Willingness to commit suicide because your significant other left you is not a sign of strength. It's a sign of weakness."

Finn is my male lead.

In his canon, he did have friends, but his past was awful and he got treated like dirt a lot without deserving it (getting sexually assaulted for trying to save everyone else? Seriously, karma?), he only wanted to help others. He still wants to protect every single innocent, though he hates abusive officers and monsters who pretend to be victims. In my crossover verse, he teleported on Earth after a failed experiment and met Leah. He helped her because he thought of all the innocents she would save. He treats Leah as a very good friend, but still loves Rey. He also wants Leah to be happy and would still give his life for her.

He has a lot of training, used to be the best shot in his class before he defected. He is still one of the best shots in the Multiverse, though not as quick as other people. He has no supernatural strength or speed, but he is still quite strong and extremely durable. He can use the Force, but he needs practice to be a Jedi. He also is good with a saber and very skilled against enemy gunmen and machines.

"Screw the rules, I am doing what's right!"

Good choices?
