Reywrite. A series my girlfriend does with only a little help from me. Mostly lighthearted... except when we consider Kylo, who is an abuser taken up to eleven.
Canon Kylo is a terrible person who does not deserve whitewashing, but this version is worse. So much worse. He commits rape along with his canon crimes.
My antagonists aren't all the same. Some are scumbags, some are almost heroic. Some are different kinds of bad. Who could let him join his forces?
Tolerate: Alastor
Let's start with the main bad guy of "We Have Each Other" and possibly its prequel. We will do it live! Al is a sadist who keeps prisoners in his tower and tortures everyone who opposes the Dark One. He even suggests rape to happen to his enemies and slanders them a lot. Since his master made the Dyad, Alastor would approve of what Kylo is doing.
Despise: Dark Rey
This version of Rey followed her own path after she learned the Dyad corrupted her soul. And that included murder of rapists, abusers and apologists. She also no longer wants anything to do with Ben. So, if she learned an alternate Kylo raped an alternate Rey, she would track him and personally cut him down if she feels merciful.
Tolerate: Danisha Wood
Danisha was actually very easy to dispose of, but there was a reason Rey killed her brutally. Danisha might be a woman, but she is a colossal abuse apologist and believes women who look good and reject powerful abusive men deserve to burn. So she could fangirl over Kylo.
Despise: Mori Ranmaru
Ranmaru is all about two things. Honor and Oda Nobunaga. Kylo does not have any honor, slaughters defenseless people, rapes captives and kills his family. Also, he is way too self-serving. Ranmaru is not a rapist, and will kill only those who are against Nobunaga. Kylo would try to take Oda's place, so he is in Mori's hit list.
Tolerate: Takara
Considered by readers and myself the weakest Arc Villain, she is a dangerous Sue. She is not the badass she thinks she is, but she is so evil she is willing to change history to be royalty, abuses her subordinates all the time and blames everyone but herself. She would see Kylo as an useful tool, and both believe in survival of the fittest. Plus, Takara is attracted to criminals and her version of love is twisted.
Despise: Lilith
Lilith is the main villain from the "Pan, Kitty and friends" side of the story. She needs sex to survive, though that doesn't excuse how she eats her prey. However, she would not get along with Kylo. The reason she turned evil was that she wanted equal rights between men and women and was denied them. She hates such an injustice. She considers human rapists, who gain nothing but pleasure unlike her, to be scum, and prefers to prey on them to sleep better. She would try to kill and eat Kylo as punishment for being a rapist.
Tolerate: The Hatemonger
If Adolf Hitler likes you, this is not a good sign. This villain is the leader of some zombie Nazis, an enemy of Rey, and an undead Hitler who knows the Dark Side of the Force. He looks down on women, believing them to be breeders, and believes Rey should be in the kitchen or under the Dyad. So, he would love the Aryan Kylo for teaching those blacks and women their place.
Despise: Armilla
The Vampire Lady might be known for keeping Finn in her basement, but she is not like Kylo from the Reywrite. She refuses to rape Finn, even when ordered to, and takes interest in him because he is a good person. She does get along with the Hammer, but he is also willing to do anything for his allies, just with no moral lines. Finally, her agenda includes her being authority, so she would try to overthrow the Supreme Leader.
Tolerate: The Loyalist
The Loyalist is far more moral than Reywrite Kylo. Or Lilith. So, why would he still tolerate his master? He is not loyal to Kylo per se, but is very loyal to the cause of the First Order, and is willing to ally with anyone for its causes and to eliminate Finn. Including rapists.
Despise: The Hammer
Sure, the Hammer is evil, not above gaslighting and slaughtering an entire village. However, he is not too mean to his men, does not rape anybody, and believes in pragmatism, not in pointless sadism. That last one would make him turn on Kylo and call him incompetent.
