A character that helps you define old or new timeline is Leah Clearwater, lead of the New one. She is one of the strongest characters and definitely one of the fastest, but can she cope with the massive power levels of Old Timeline? Whom she can beat while at full strength?
Can: Rowdy Rancor
This Rancor is no ordinary one. It is mutated by the mad scientist Cortex and a fearsome glutton. An ordinary Rancor can defeat even untrained Force Users, and this one is far stronger. However, Leah does not rely on brute force. She also has faced equally powerful creatures like Gozuki or the Vanguard. Especially the Vanguard, who could kill her in one hit and still lost.
Can't: Spider Mastermind
One of the Three Enforcers, she is the only one not good with Hellfire. However, she has technology and very good range, and if the lasers and plasma bombs don't get Leah, the super chaingun WILL, and IS fast enough to hit and wound her at close range, where she primarily fights.
Can: Krugg
He is a Knight of Ren, from the slow but strong ones, and has a powerful red laser axe. His Force powers are formidable and if he hits Leah, she will feel it. However, she is physically both faster and stronger than him, plus her healing will help a lot.
Can't: Grand Admiral Thrawn
She might be the strongest Stormwolf member who reaches the Boar News Tower, but Leah's fighting style has glaring weaknesses. Even with the Sonic Overdrive, Leah is not so good in ranged attacks, her weapons are a joke unless she fights vampires, and she is very weak to silver. Grand Admiral "Big Brain" Thrawn is smart enough, after he studies her, to use all three weaknesses and arm himself with silver armor and weapons with long range.
Can: The Roundhead
Old Timeline's propagandist is not nearly as strong as Al Astor. Sure he has a saber, invisibility and rockets, but Leah can smell him and outrun the missiles. She can also punch him rapidly. He does stand a small chance, but the odds are in her favor.
Can't: Bruton
The strongest of the Knights of Ren, but one of the least skilled. His Force abilities surpass Kylo's in raw power and give trouble to Rey and Finn, and he has a giant two-handed red lightsaber that can cleave even Leah in half if he hits her. Since the Force is hard to avoid, Leah can't use her superior speed, and in terms of weapon skills Bruton is not so great, but better than Leah.
Can: Captain Nebula
One of Thrawn's bodyguards, the brawn to Eli and Thrawn's brains, he replaces Phasma and fights Chewbacca. He puts up a good fight, but gets defeated by the big Wookie. He would be just as strong as Phasma if not for his strong shoulder cannon and more skills. Leah will have a little more trouble than Chewie and his bowcaster, but still manages to outclass Nebula in speed and power.
Can't: Twinrova
This giant witch isn't like most big monsters. She is actually very intelligent and strong as an Archdemon. She can use very well both fire and ice, and can crush people with her bare hands. Leah is outmatched at nearly everything, especially abilities.
Can: Ian Brandon Anderson
One of the most evil characters I have ever written. A serial stalker and tyrant, he attempts to make women his breeder machines. He has powerful energy waves, electricity and is fast enough in his monster form to keep up with Clearwater. And vice versa about speed. However, there is a little problem. Ian is an idiot with little durability, and his weak spot is an obvious one in the chest. Leah can avoid his attacks, stab him with his stake there and then kick his ass, like Finn, Rey and Kylo all did separately.
Can't: The Malacoda
The lord of Malebolge, this Archdemon used to be Kylo Ren. This is his demon form, far stronger than the original and without what little empathy was left. His mind control is amplified tenfold due to his eyes, making him able to overcome even normally strong-minded people like Rey, his tail is indestructible, his right hand is permanently a lightsaber and his left can still use the Force even more than before. Oh, and he has Hellfire including homing seething masses of it. Rey and Finn needed teamwork to defeat this creature, Leah alone never stood a chance.
