Shawn is from the evil that is Vegan Artbook, a comic that despite the title has a big piece of meat in its mouth.

He is basically a meat eater in a world where degrading comparisons, rape, torture and murder are ok, but eating meat is the supreme evil, somehow worse than all of them.

For that horrendous, evil, awful crime, he gets his comeuppance a lot. His big sister, Brie, one of the kindest souls you can meet next to Ebony Way, only talks to him about how his diet is teh evulz and eating bacon is somehow very very selfish.

He is also kicked in the nuts, threatened with knives and beat up regularly for disagreeing with the vegan characters, who are pacifist because they don't eat meat. But despite the abuse he gets, he never yields. Shawn is a true hero who will always call out the self-righteous fuckers of "friends" for their bullshit.

In my verse, Sterk reveals he does not care about the people's diets and only used Brie and her group so he could kill people, allowing his master to purify the world. He kills Brie and her group, and himself gets killed by Pan in his own meat grinder.

Shawn gets adopted by a family of two farmgirls and is free to express now his opinion about things. The two girls are nice to him and are actual pacifists. At least the elder, the younger uses a bow to fight crime.

Shawn is no fighter, but has endured a lot of pretentiousness and will immediately call it out when he sees it.

Seriously, this guy gets the rawest deal and the world is out to get him for not conforming to the creator's preferences. Seriously, he gets shit on so much that you can't help but want to protect him. It doesn't help that the series has a victim blaming complex when it comes to him.

These characters, like Shawn, are my favorite and the ones I feel sorry for like they are real people.

(It's also the reason I use Finn and Leah for Sue hunters. They don't get the good treatment they deserve.)

Seriously, and he's only 17 years old. And Brie has been retconned into being 27 years old, but the narrative always tries to portray her shitty behavior towards her little brother as correct.

So, I enjoy bashing this work without remorse.

Btw; I’m a huge fan of Slasher films; so is it wasn’t the gore that got me; it was the fact it was said to be justified! My God! Could the characters just Shut up about veganism, and stop virtue signaling for one second! And BTW; one of my best friends from school hunts; and she absolutely loves animals! Especially horses! I think she went to veterinary school.

Yes, I did talk to the author to be objective about her. She is very polite... until you tell her that comparing Jews to pigs is something Hitler does. AKA water is wet! I believe it was the first time I saw her writing in caps.

Also, how do I know she is a rape apologist? She told me! I stopped talking to her after that, and simply informed one of her detractors, who doubled the bashing of her afterwards.

What you said about gore and self-righteousness... Agree 100%. It's also why the Space Marines and the Bride are likable, but Harrymort is not.

No, they can't stop talking about veganism. Because they use it as a shield to defend themselves for valid criticism of their awful personalities. Their life is an "us vs them", where people are judged by the diet.

And food is a necessity. Has nothing to do with hate.

The conversation that made me believe she supports rape.

The comic: Vegans can never go too far.
Me: What about a person who condones rape against women who wear fur? Yeah, clothes provoke them. That IS too far.
The author: You misunderstood. Animals are tortured in fur farms. So, anyone who wears fur deserves to be hit by karma, and wearing fur is rape! And also, the fur hags are those who deserve to go to prison!

I, myself, am against fur, but clothes can never excuse rape. Nothing can excuse rape.

If you still are disgusted, even after seeing the full quote, this makes two of us. Also, I am pretty sure she lost her cool when I said rape is too far...

It's also a reason I never spork this comic. Because I will make a personal attack sooner or later!

What? You read the review? Forgot to mention the strawman versions of critics who are demonized and in one case killed... yes, I am still talking about her, not Chris-Chan.

Tell her that and she will say that you do this to undermine veganism. She deflects all the correct accusations against her personality like this:

"(Because I hate people for being omnivores), the true reason people hate me must be that I am vegan and not that I am a misanthropic, rape apologizing, victim blaming motherfucker. Everyone, see how they bully the poor vegan!"

She did get even rape threats, and my view in that is in my review. (Spoiler: I also call out guys who will give her such threats)

I don't know. My Immortal did have also "us vs them", Goths and Preps, but the horrible grammar, nonsensical plot, dumb innuedos and other things make us incapable of taking it seriously.

I also laughed at Vegan Artbook.

"Anyone who doesn't compare Jews to pigs is like Hitler!" Either the Revisionists have succeeded, or the comic makes a massive research failure.

But at one point it starts becoming infuriating.

My Immortal keeps getting ridiculous, and so does Sonichu. VA is the only work that truly pissed me off.
