I don't regret the rant at the beginning, if they shove their disturbing values in media, like racism, I can put mine too. And I say that heroism is not valued by color, gender or power. What makes a hero? Bravery. Selflessness. Empathy. Not giving up even when the people you help snub you. Having friends and valuing them.
I hope one day we can live without hate on others for something they were born with. One day, people will be treated the way they treat others. I know it's impossible, but at least one can dream.
This is why fiction exists. For us to have a safe place to escape from the corruption. For us to be able to change it if the corruption is even there.
The chapter itself deals with that, and is also the culmination of the Egypt arc. The bad guy is from a supposedly superior species, and is the strongest of his kind. He can split the Earth open and casually eats people. The good guy? An almost regular human who has been snubbed because of his skin color and fights for his friends.
