Jojo's Bizarre Adventures Review

pan2000You certainly know about Jojo. Its fandom will find any excuse, and I mean ANY excuse, to make references. You expect this review to be negative, like most things I review...
BUT IT WAS ME, DIO!
Jojo is not about one person. It's actually an entire family, starting with Jonathan. He was a great character and person, and his archenemy, Dio, is probably the most well-known character of the series. He earns it for being a badass vampire... and between us, he would totally destroy Edward. Because predicting all the moves of the enemy easily is no use when said enemy stops time... he demonstrates it when facing and beating one of the smartest heroes.
But he is not the only awesome villain. Kira and Kars have their own flavor of awesome. The latter literally survived magma...
Now, to the heroes. Jonathan was a very nice guy, but still strong enough to obliterate vampires with his bare hands... he beat Dio, but got killed by one of his cheap shots.
Joseph was not so strong, but very very smart. He could predict even the next lines of the enemies and uses his head to destroy some deities much stronger than vampires. He also managed to grow old because of this. His age did make him a bit rusty, but he was still useful.
Jotaro is edgy and very very calm, but not emotionless. He does actually care about others and can be pretty pissed when facing awful people. Even though he is very strong and his primary solution is multiple punches, he can and does use his head against some enemies. And has to in two cases, the smart D'Arby family, though he did have help from Joseph in the second case.
From the sidekicks, I was surprised to see Nazis actually helping the hero in one case, but then again, the enemy was THAT bad. Some side characters have very good development, like Polnareff and even Iggy, a dog.
Both the Hamon and the Stands were cool ideas.
Though I haven't watched the later seasons. Yet.
And any attempt to stop me will be... MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!
Grade: 9/10 for awesomeness. Loses a grade because they omit Hamon for Stands, while a combination would be better. But it's still awesome!

A WH40k abridged series about the God Emperor getting a text to speech device, and lamenting what the Imperium has become, has some of the Custodes, Emp’s personal bodyguards become a parody of the pillar men, due to an early edition statement that the Custodes lamented on the loss of the Emperor by stripping their armor off, putting on black helmets, and never leaving the Imperial Palace. And the Pillar Men theme really gives the impression that they are deities. (Also, seems like they are your favorite antagonists. While not the most vile, that is probably Dio, they are definetely badass enough to Stand on their own.)
