SunTzu, protagonist of Tales of Taskforce Sol (an unrelated story to my fics, written by a friend), is a warrior who, while in the side of good, can be merciless to protect his loved ones. An ace pilot and a Force user, he is experienced in the sky, in space, on the ground and in bed.
Whom can he beat?
Can: Trias
Trias is also a pilot, and can sense people with the Force. But he is beneath SunTzu in both counts, despite being a decent pilot: he is mostly relying on Palpatine's name, his skills are just good enough to get him to the Alpha Squadron, and on the ground he uses electric gloves. SunTzu helps stop a dread weapon, not just some stealth bombers, and can use the Force to attack enemies.
Can't: SkullFace
SkullFace is a giant Triceratops, and deceptively smart and fast for his size. He can use both fire and ice breath strategically and has been shown obliterating other giant foes and trained assassins. The one thing he couldn't take down with his strength was the Serpent Monarch, which was no weaker than the Death Star. SunTzu only stands a chance if he is in AICA, but even then has the disadvantage.
Can: Emil Kudos
The mad scientist known for his cruelty, Kudos has many weapons in his arsenal. He has tranquilizer darts, acid bombs and a flamethrower. He also can teleport and make clones. Alas, SunTzu is stronger than him. He can stop most of Emil's attacks due to the Force, even the flamethrower. Of course, it won't be easy, and that's because of the Trunkblade that can stop a lightsaber. However, Kudos has to call his attacks when it comes to the sword, which lets SunTzu avoid them.
Can't: Ah'tilla
Ah'tilla is SunTzu's primary target when he helps Stormwolf, because he wants to kill the Yuuzhan Vong Supreme Commander. However, Ah'tilla can and does kill an average Padawan, and SunTzu is an average Force user. If SunTzu went straight for the commander, he would only survive if Rey or Leah or Finn or Axel save him.
Can: Kazuda Xiono
Kaz is a member of the Black Squadron, and one of the two weakest. Then again, is it an insult to say you are the weakest among the very top of pilots in the Galaxy? Anyway, while Kazuda has some moments where he makes a difference, on foot he would easily be stopped by SunTzu and the Force. In space, where Kazuda really shines, SunTzu still outshines him by basically saving Kaydel and stopping several Yaret-Kor, plus in his home story he has defeated whole pirate fleets alone.
Can't: Pierre Polheffer
Yes, he is based on Polnareff and belongs to another friend. Anyway, SunTzu might be powerful, but the Hero of Unicorn's blade has many advantages. His armor, made from Amecite, is all but impenetrable, Beskar level at least. The enemies that actually did do damage to him can be counted in one hand. He is also extremely fast, even with the armor on, and his clockwork legs only make him faster and harder to tire out. As for his sword, it's legendary and has a unicorn spirit. This is not a fair fight at all.
Can: Gray
Another fan made character, she shines in the final battle of Season 2. She can use mind control, but SunTzu can block it. The Gunblade is very useful in both ranges, which makes SunTzu lucky he can use the Force and doesn't specialize in only one range. Finally, while Gray knows insult sword fighting, SunTzu is witty, meaning he can retaliate. It won't be easy unless AICA is used, but SunTzu has the edge.
Can't: High Priest Kor
Kor is the figurehead of the Imperial Remnant, an acting leader who wants to restore Palpatine to life. While SunTzu can easily cut down his Acolytes, his Force powers and his overall skills are stronger, the boss is much harder. He is skilled with the lightsaber and even amputates Jannah, and like SunTzu, he is not afraid to fight dirty at all. He also can boost his power with a Sith Holocron, and fire lightning so powerful it can take down ships bigger than AICA.
Can: The Hatemonger
Not all Dark Side users have to be powerful, and this guy is the first one a hero encounters in Stormwolf. He can use the Dark Side of the Force with no talent or training, but simply because he is that consumed with hate. He is also a zombie and wields a red lightsaber. Finally, he can breathe poisonous gas. So, why does SunTzu beat him so easily? He is even more skilled than him. The Hatemonger, being Hitler, underestimates his enemies. While he gave Rey a hard time, he was fighting early Rey, who had let her power go to her head, and still lost. And if SunTzu uses AICA, it's over fast. SunTzu can make him pay for mass genocide, mass indoctrination and shaming his country's good name.
Can't: Starla Shine
Starla is Lightning's wife and second in command. She is also one of the worst matchups for SunTzu. She can use telekinesis just like him, has many options from afar due to her bow, and she can even shoot down AICA and fly after her. While SunTzu stands more of a chance in close range, and can exploit Starla calling her attacks, Starla can fight, although not beat, current Leah in a pure fistfight.
