Spitefic: Storming Metros

Once everyone had their fun, it was time for their first mission, in Metros.

Where Applejack uses her official rank to take over an Attack Carrier, and fill it with most Equestrian forces of Ponyville, as well as two Unicornicopians who didn't believe their species was superior to everyone else.

Then the Carrier, as well as the Falcon and the massive new Resistance Cruiser Aayla Secura, fly towards the planet Metros.

"This will be easy enough to free" Finn comments inside the Falcon. "I heard they haven't got a powerful guard there."

"Plus, the Mane Six are on our side" Rey adds. "With them, we should have nothing to fear."

Twilight teleports inside the Falcon. "So, Finn, until we get there, wanna play some chess?"

"Ok. Since I don't trust Starfleet's narrative, I think you will be a competent opponent."

"I wish you did eat their lies, hook, line and sinker. Maybe then I could catch you off-guard and easily beat you" Twilight tells him, smiling sheepishly.

Rey turns to Leah. "Looks like Finn found someone with the one interest neither of us two really have."

"Well, after this mission, I will take him to play in arcades" Leah tells her, then gives her a smug grin.

"Nah, I think he will prefer fencing" Rey tells her while wagging her finger.

Finn is about to make his first move. And he attacks from the sides.

Twilight gives him a confident state and tries Scholar's Mate.

Which Finn stops quickly. "Like I have never faced this trap before!"

Then he moves his left Knight to slowly push Twilight back.

As they keep playing, Rainbow and Fluttershy are talking inside the Carrier.

"We should be wary" Fluttershy tells the blue mare. "Titan had used an impostor mayor while I went there last time with Rhymey.

The impostor had said Starfleet were evil conquerors who wanted to take over the planet under the pretense of saving it.

Sure, she said it because it served Titan, but... now that the imprint is gone, I think the monster did have a point. Except for the fact that we make up threats first..." she remembers Stammadon "... on purpose. That was a big fat lie."

"Well, we didn't let them rule themselves..." Rainbow adds.

"Ok, maybe the massacres of civilians were bogus as well" Fluttershy tells her. "Through the imprint, I knew Rhymey. And he would never butcher civilians. Whenever he did evil, he had something to gain.

I think even Ace Ray would draw the line on the video of Buddy Rose whipping a child."

Rainbow can barely contain her laughter. "Couldn't they say he is a colonialist?"

"At least they were honest with the fact that Starla enjoys fighting strong foes all the time."

"Yeah, I kinda enjoy fighting too, but she makes me look like a pacifist" Rainbow admits. "I wonder what made her this eager for a fight."

"Maybe the patriarchical society of Starfleet? Maybe she didn't want to be seen as a helpless damsel in distress, so she became one of the most ferocious warriors to spite any possible sexists?" Rarity asks. "It would explain a lot."

"Well, she did earn the love and respect of even Lightning..." Fluttershy adds.

In a single hour, they get to Metros.

"We are already here! Damn it! I was about to win!" Finn curses loudly.

Twilight smiles at the young man. "Finn! I just realized we were playing chess for more than an hour! You are pretty good."

"You are very skilled yourself, stalling me for an hour. Only Rarity has played this well against me. And she is trained at the games of nobility. One day, I will have you and her play a round." The purple mare taps the human's left shoulder.

Metros is not unlike Earth. It has vast oceans, lush green places, and cities full of streets, squares, and skyscrapers.

The Metrosians are humans, just like the Earthlings and those in Galaxies far far away.

And Stormwolf parks in a starport.

"So far, it's just like Earth. The only thing missing is vampires and werewolves" Leah tells the others.

"Sis, I am not completely sure."

"Why, Seth?"

"There might actually be vampires and werewolves here. Especially since I sincerely doubt the Black Legion did leave its imprint only on Earth, Ainzul, Vistula and part of the Galaxy your boyfriend and his friends live in" Seth explains.

"Was the pun intentional?" Leah asks.

"Maybe..." Seth gives her a sheepish grin.

Meanwhile, Twilight is talking to Poe.

"Wait, wait, wait" Poe raises his hands. "You are telling me your Moon, despite having no plants or water for them whatsoever, has breathable air?"

Twilight nods. "It's Princess Luna's magic. She has full control over the Moon, she can even move it. So, she also made it inhabitable in case of overpopulation."

"That makes sense!" Poe replies. "Also, wow, Luna is powerful!"

"She is also a brilliant swordsmare. I doubt your Rey can bring her down!" Twilight tells him.

"I HEARD THAT! Also, I am the Chosen One, so I think I do stand a damn chance!"

Meanwhile, Rose is speaking with Trixie.

"So, about the fact that Celesto lets Cadance suffer because her marriage is happier than his... did she ever pay him back?" Rose asks.

"Well... she did once, once she became a ninja and she realized Celesto's future kids tormented her with nightmares, something their dad taught them.

She secretly used her abilities, weaponizing the suffering she felt because of them, and stole Celesto's porn stash to mess with him.

Or so we thought. When she opened the box with the supposed stash, we found out Celesto outsmarted anyone who would try to take it. He had only left a decoy, which only had a bunch of selfies."

Ace Ray interrupts. "I feel like you underestimate Cadance."

At the same time, the team finds a bunker underground.

And then Q spots a patrol coming towards them. It's a few bald white men, all wearing sunglasses and holding pistols.

They all look a bit similar.

Q turns to the others. "Quickly, hide! These are Agents!"

Fluttershy has a question. "What's wrong?"

"Those guys are traitors. They willingly act as the cover for the Legion. They should not spot us!" Q tells her.

Rainbow cracks her knuckles. "I think I can handle them, Q."

"Me too, Rainbow, but we need to track them to see their base of operations. We are too big as a team, a select few of us will spy on them to spot their base" Q explains. "Who can do this?"

Grimer raises his hand. "I will lead this operation. Me and a few others will go through the sewers. They can't spot us, and in worst case scenario, they will have an underground base which we can't spot otherwise.

I think with me should come Little Finn, Alix, Q and Rarity."

Rarity immediately dashes at him and slaps him hard in the face. "No, I will not get myself dirty!"

"Did you have to slap me?" Grimer asks.

"You attacked Sweetie Belle and the other Crusaders, so I wanted an excuse to do so" Rarity tells him.

"I was just following Beaker's orders!" Beaker raises his hands in protest.

"You are one of the people who chose to oppose Starfleet!" Rarity glares at him. "You know there are some orders that are immoral and dumb and you disobey!

Just following orders we let Twilight die and we missed her for years, being stuck with Lightning as our direct leader!

So, orders are no excuse. Following orders hurt us enough, Grimer. And that was the world you wanted, one where orders didn't hurt our population as a whole!"

Grimer flinches. "I... I am sorry..."

"Prove me you are not the brute who attacked Sweetie Belle!" Rarity tells him.

Grimer nods. "Will do. For now, I think I should get another recruit. How about... Trixie Lulamoon?"

"Why did you choose the Great and Powerful Trixie? She knows she is a brilliant choice, but why?" Trixie asks.

"It's your illusions, Trixie. You can make some great ones. And your illusion magic allows us distractions" Grimer explains.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie accepts. Especially since she was chosen over Twilight!"

Grimer turns to Poe. "Should I tell her I want Twilight to be with the heavy hitters?"

"No, better not cause trouble."

Gray raises her hand. "I want to go in the sewers as well!"

"Huh?" Grimer asks. "Why?"

"Because I am not a heavy hitter to fight openly and can use mind control to make others stop pursuing us. Have you forgotten, Grimer?"

"We are not often in the same division, so we don't talk too much. Sorry!" Grimer apologizes.

As the six spies go to the sewers, the rest of the team also splits up.

Rose is grouchy. "Why did they choose Q over me?"

"He can turn invisible and is a better mechanic and hacker. Besides, we might need another hacker somewhere. Or another pilot" Poe tells her. "Q isn't a pilot like you, and since you got the Terror Tazer you are more suitable than him for open fights" Poe explains.

As the heroes continue, they get weary. So, they enter a mansion.

Where an old woman awaits them.

"Greetings. What do you want in my house?"

"Can we have some food and water?" Poe asks. Even though Emily and Renee are great cooks, they still can't feed two whole armies.

The butler, a middle-aged man whose hair are both black and white, looks at them suspiciously.

Rey reads his mind quickly.

"I will, and I will give you part of my money" the old lady replies. "If you help me pay respects to my late husband and parents."

"What do you mean?" Poe asks.

"There are evil spirits haunting the local graveyard. Can you help get rid of them, since they don't let anyone visit?

Because of them, we are forced to leave our late loved ones outside of graves... where they are never seen again."

"We will gladly accept! We are here to help for exactly such things!" Poe tells the woman.

"Please go, and have my blessings!" the old lady wishes.

As they leave the mansion, the butler leaves his mistress and takes a phone.

He immediately makes a call. "Can I speak to the Doctor?"

"He is busy having a meeting" the voice comes from the other line.

"With destiny?" the butler asks.

"Oh, it's you, Black Cat. Sadly, the Doctor actually isn't available, but I am. What's wrong?"

"Well, Stormwolf and the Mane Six are going to the graveyard. If they succeed, they will take part of the mistress' money, and I am the one who will inherit her fortune. Make sure they will never succeed, please!"

"I have someone I can trust enough for this. Her name is Brownie. She will make them unable to ever be happy again!"

"Heh. That will cause serious trouble to that foolish Equestrian positivity."

Grimer's group is travelling through the sewers, tracking the Agents down.

As they do so, Little Finn smells something and starts squeaking loudly.

"What's wrong?" Q asks.

The mouse can only point in a single direction.

This makes everyone draw their weapons.

And as they do, they are ambushed by a lot of Slimes and Chompies.

Q turns invisible, then releases a laser drone that tears through the slimes, while Little Finn dodges a Chompy's bite and with a bite of his own takes it out.

Alix, in her snake form, spits poison and gets rid of several Chompies, then uses her hard head and headbutts a slime hard.

Trixie makes an illusion of Q appear a little far from the spies, drawing several Slimes and Chompies there, only for Gray to shoot them dead with her Gunblade.

As Little Finn uses his Iron Tail on a Slime and destroys it, Q fires his Drill Blaster and takes down the remaining Slimes.

A few Chompies are left and lunge to bite Grimer, only to meet his wrench and be killed.

"Great, we are spotted. At least winning this encounter means we did some damage to their forces" Grimer comments.

The main force of warriors gets to the graveyard an hour later. Where they see a few Ghouls eating corpses.

"Well, I guess this is why they don't let the people bury their dead" Poe comments.

The Ghouls hear him and charge while screeching. However, Rose Tico attacks with her Terror Tazer and electrocutes three of them at once until they explode.

Finn fires a field of electricity with his Shockbolt and then uses the Force to throw the nearby Ghouls in. Their explosions cause a chain reaction, leaving very few surviving Ghouls, which fall to Rarity's arrows.

From the soil, more Ghouls come, bloodthirsty.

Leah and Seth turn into their wolf forms, and the former destroys ten of them with a Ten-Sided Strike, while Seth defeats another one with a pounce.

Poe activates his new jetpack and throws a detonator from above, blowing up several Ghouls, while Din burns a few more to cinders.

One lunges at him and bites his shoulder, but only breaks its teeth trying. Din sighs and stabs it with his lightsaber, making it blow up close to him. The Beskar armor saves his life.

From the graves, blue ghosts named Hiders attack by shooting at the intruders from afar, using blowguns.

Four Equestrians and two humans get shot, and Twilight uses her magic to heal them, while the Poet raises an ice wall to make a cover for them.

Poe fires a UV Beam and takes down a Hider in a single shot, while Pinkie defeats another one with her firecrackers.

Leah dodges a shot in close range and uses her Spectral Dash to defeat the third Hider. A fourth one aims at her, but Applejack throws a Ghoul at it and stuns it, then Pierre fires a beam of light and finishes it off.

As the Hiders are distracted in the front lines, one of them hits an Equestrian.

However, Kallie gets close to them and attacks with her Super Net, beating every single one of them easily.

Emily shoots her Fire Eggs and takes out a Ghoul, but Grave Wardens, undead who roam the cemeteries, charge at her with their shovels. She blocks a shovel strike with her frying pan and bashes the Warden's face in, then uses Renee's latest magical upgrade and fills her pan with frying oil.

She sends it to two more Wardens, burning them, as Maura fires her hunting rifle and shoots a fourth one dead in the face.

Next comes a single zombie, which immediately becomes a massive abomination, with a form that's humanoid but hard to define, and is from black sludge.

A Consumed. With one punch, it sends Applejack flying away, then it is about to pound Emily to the ground. As Seth, in his human form, saves her, Spike becomes the Dragon Knight and charges.

However, he first has to cut down the Grave Wardens charging at Rarity, and the Consumed is about to attack Seth.

Only for Rainbow to become a blue blur and land a Sonic Rainboom straight into the beast, knocking it down. However, the Consumed gets back up and throws a powerful punch at her, which passes through her afterimage.

Rainbow, seeing an opening, lands a barrage of hard jabs with her fists on the massive undead.

Then she pulls her tongue at it. "You are too slow!"

And with a double kick she finishes the Consumed off.

When Spike burns the last undead, they all proceed to pay respects to the dead.

The spies keep crawling in the sewers.

"Wow, they made them really big!" Gray comments.

"Maybe they did so to be able to send monsters from here" Q replies.

And speaking of which, Mudmen come at them.

Which makes Q send a Flame Drone, originally for vampires, to burn one of them, while Alix spits poison at another one of them.

A Mudman fires a Mud Shot, but Grimer takes it and flinches. "I am so used to sewers, I got partial resistance to attacks related to dirt!"

Gray uses her Gunblade and shoots the Mudman from afar. "You will never get close enough to get me!"

One creeps in the sewage and prepares to attack Gray from behind, but Grimer smashes him with his wrench, making him reel enough for Gray to turn and slash him with his Gunblade.

"I think we have fallen in a trap!" Q comments as his Flame Drone burns another Mudman.

"You don't say!" Trixie says as she makes two clones, which distract two Mudmen long enough for Alix to defeat them in her human form with poisoned daggers.

"Hey, at least this means we are close to the enemy!" Q replies as he fires his Drill Blaster through a Mudman.

As Stormwolf is mourning the dead whose peace they restored, suddenly Pinkie Pie is stabbed in the back.

And she instantly falls unconscious.

Rey immediately turns to the attacker, which is a fearsome Cemetery Shade. A humanoid shadow with a blade, known to be a very fast sword user, the Shade is known for its ability to dish out pain, but alas, it can take very little.

The Shade attacks Rey, who parries the first blow with her saber, while Finn crouches behind Pinkie and starts Force Healing her.

As Rey and the Shade keep fighting, Rey notices her foe is faster than her, but with the Force she tracks its movements and blocks its strikes. And when she sees the opportunity, she takes it and, after a successful parry, she penetrates the monster with a riposte.

As it gets wounded and staggered, Rey performs a Leap Attack, slashing its face and scarring it. "You will not hurt my friends. I won't let anyone hurt my friends!"

She kicks the Shade in the face before she tries to stomp on its head.

However, the Shade recovers fast and zips out of the way, moving faster than the human eye can see, past Rey and about to stab Finn in the back.

But, right before the Shade does so, which would cause serious damage as Finn is still healing Pinkie, Rey uses the Force to grab the Shade and drag it close to her.

Then she kicks it hard in the face, making it flinch. The Shade dodges the slash following up the kick and sees an opening, slashing Rey hard in the arm and torso and cutting through part of the armor. Had Rey been unprotected, her whole right arm would be chopped off.

However, she uses one of her Hookshots and wraps it around the Shade's right arm, disarming it, then uses her Strobulb Flash to blind it and smashes its face to the ground.

Then she throws a left punch at the Shade, but it catches her left arm and prepares to punch her back in the gut. Only for the hidden blade to stab the monster mortally.

"Huh? I am sure I have seen supposedly weaker foes that can last longer!" Rey comments.

Suddenly, her mood sours. "I... I am alone. My parents left me. I was worth less than a drink. I am useless. I hurt everyone who comes from my Galaxy. I..."

Finn also falls on his knees, having just healed Pinkie. "I am just a number. I didn't have a real family. I am not worthy to be seen as a human being. It's for the best Rey kept pushing me away... I don't deserve her. Nor do I deserve Leah. What would anyone want with a selfish traitor like me?"

Poe, too, has the same mood. "I am not a leader. I am a moron who sends good warriors to their deaths. Leia only chose me for her successor because Holdo and Ackbar were dead. I am just a mediocre pilot, nothing more."

Leah falls on her knees as well. "I am a worthless woman. I can't make a family, I cannot even give birth! Why would anyone pick me? Sam was lucky he imprinted on Emily. At least she can give children! While me? I killed my father, and I can't make him grandkids!

Emily doesn't see it that way. "I am no warrior. What's my use, exactly? I am nothing more than a cook! I am weak, the weakest member of Stormwolf, and I was lucky I imprinted on Sam!"

Spike feels blue as well. "Why does Rarity want me, exactly? I was abusive to her! I acted all paranoid about Thunder Cloud, I joined in when Starfleet bullied her, and I can't help others unless I am with Rarity. I am not worthy of being the Dragon Knight!"

Even Twilight loses her positivity. "Grand Ruler was right about me. I am a failure. Ignorant, selfish, and I act before I think. I couldn't save Celestia, I couldn't listen to Celesto, my death is all my fault!"

As everyone is weeping, Pinkie Pie looks around her. "What's wrong with all of you? Snap out of it!"

And out of the blue, a dark brown mare, with a brown mane and dark blue eyes, approaches.

Behind her, a horde of blue spirits with bare skulls instead of faces approaches, as well as several Agents, armed with assault rifles.

"Looks like they are all trapped in misery, all thanks to my Sorrows" the mare says. "Agents, they are too unable to fight back. Shoot them all."

Pinkie turns to them and sees them about to open fire.

And she makes banana peels go under their feet, making them miss.

Only for the brown mare to wrap her with her chain. "My name is Brownie. I am the mistress of the Sorrows, and I am surprised they don't work on you."

"Well, I feel nothing is worth feeling sad about. I am perfectly comfortable with who I am, Brownie. And plus, I think your Sorrows need some pranks to cheer them up!" Pinkie tells her, and throws a pie in her face before throwing a few more at the Sorrows, destroying a couple of them.

"All I want is to make people happy. And I can't let you, party crushers, drain my friends!" Pinkie announces defiantly.
