Stu Profile: Emil Kudos

Power: 8 (he could handle Starfleet, but he was also very lucky)
Influence: 10 (Why did the protagonists show sympathy to him of all people?)
Vileness: 9.9 (He didn't do genocide or rape, but he got close to both)

Let's talk about a villain I despise, whom I would consider a complete monster if the author agreed. He somehow didn't make the top 5 of my most hated Sues, but considering those have committed genocide, rape or BOTH and are considered sympathetic, that's not saying much.

Ok, first of all, he is a complete misogynistic bastard. He calls women retards, removes parts that are integral to them while saying about how he can take what he wants (no comment) and his idea to summon a demon king and destroy all magic came from being dumped. Just because a woman broke up with him, he is entitled to lock her up in his basement with her boyfriend and blame her for the misery, destruction and deal with a devil he made.

He might appear very competent at first glance, but he is not as good in practice. He is just lucky: Starfleet practically LETS him escape every time. Remember when Celesto had an "Energy Overload" and wouldn't couldn't finish Emil off? Compare it to when he actually fought Stammadon.

Emil pretends to be anti-racist, but as Legendbringer pointed out, he is really the racist. Just because he got DUMPED because his girl liked someone for his magic (while shallow of her, he could realize he then deserved better and moved on, but is a pussy), he decided to eliminate all magic because he could not change himself, and make everyone the same. Would the Nazis mind if, to "stand up to the evil Jews" as they would say, made everyone white?

Oh, and being racist because you experienced it yourself? Arlong did it better, as he wasn't supposed to be sympathetic, got the beatdown he deserved, and was not half as whiny!

Speaking of beatdown he deserved... when he whines about being dumped and doing his evil for that, Starfleet takes HIS side. Despite him being fully in the wrong for what he has done! Later, when the demon he summoned finally has enough of his whining, Lightning Dawn saves Emil's life.

For context, he had no problem killing a foe who was brainwashed and STILL not as bad as Emil! So, what did Emil do to deserve sympathy? Nothing. And then, after the demon is beaten, Emil whines some more and commits suicide to spite everyone... and they let him.

In my fics, Emil Kudos is still a villain, but this time, through the eyes of someone who doesn't share his ideals. He is one of the only characters to be wimpier than canon... and you know I don't do that usually!

The first time he was active, he was beaten to near-death by Matt Engarde, who simply despised how evil Emil was. Matt didn't finish him because he feared Celesto's wrath... seriously.

The bad doctor is revived later by the Dark One, who orders him to make ultimate killing machines for him. So, Emil makes the mighty Force Hunters, which put even the best Stormwolf members on the ropes. However, he himself, while he has some attacks like needles and a flamethrower, is pretty weak.

However, Emil is very elusive and book smart, and so he succeeds at escaping easily even from those who actually want him dead. The main difference is that everyone but Starfleet, even some of his allies, hate his guts because they know he works with them because he wants a woman to imprint on him.
