Every great hero needs a great villain. Sometimes, the villain is mostly harmless, but it's played for comedy, so don't expect Wile E. Coyote here. But these five are supposed to be great threats, able to butt heads with the likes of Palpatine and Ganondorf... yet Wile could outsmart them with ease. Let's start!

5. Supreme Leader Snoke

Ah, Snoke the fake ultimate villain. How intimidating he was in TFA, and has the right to say he gave Rey a beating. But Kylo Ren betrayed him so easily and he killed him in a very anticlimatic way because Rey was more useful to him. What a loser.

4. Titan

The Big Bad from Starfleet Magic. He is a mustache twirler and actually scores some minor victories. Unlike Snoke and the guys below, he actually puts up a fight every time. Still, he always ends up getting blown up when he faces Starfleet, sometimes in humiliating ways. He does adapt, but is kinda slow. He is only lower than Snoke because he never beats the protagonist and even saves his ass for no reason once.

3. Admiral Zhao (bad movie only)

Zhao is strong, but not very skilled. In the cartoon, he kills the Moon Spirit and causes setbacks, but is killed by the enraged Ocean Spirit. Here? He is supposed to still be strong but not infallible, like the cartoon... BUT he gets killed by four redshirts. I think I could beat him with a gun with one bullet.

2. Darth Dumbledore

The Big Bad from Partially Kissed Hero. He is supposed to be extremely powerful, he even has almost won on paper... but in practice? He sucks. He dies in increasingly humiliating ways, like crushed by boulders, shredded by a wood cutter, losing to Barney the Dinosaur... and the worst part? Wile E. Coyote knows he has to catch the Road Runner. The three guys above? They know their enemies and even pose a mild threat to them. Darth Dumb? He thinks the guy who kills him all the time is Colonel Sanders! The protagonists made him fall for the weakest bluff ever, so they can lecture about their intelligence while doing basic shit.

1. Terl

Jonnie didn't beat Harrymort in most vile Stu, but he has an even more pathetic antagonist than Harrymort. Because Darth Dumbledore might not know his real enemy, but he takes measures not to reveal weaknesses and seek knowledge while keeping potential threats, even his actual enemy by coincidence, from accessing it. Terl? Terl is as much of a laughable mustache-twirler as Darth Dumb, but he also can't cast spells, has some humiliating losses, and worst of all, guides Jonnie as how to beat him and his forces and makes him stronger all the time. He is also not a death seeker, but reveals his weaknesses openly and blows the chance to attack enemies who revealed themselves to him ALL THE FUCKING TIME! He is so self-disposing he is to blame for his defeats, not Jonnie. (Also, he teleports into an exploding planet. What a moron.)

And now I'm curious about what your favorite OCs in fics are. AFter all, gotta balance the bad with the good, right?

lol, glad you like Pity, I like him as well, then again I'm a bit biased for my own characters. As for OCs I like that aren't mine...

Hmm... sadly I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I am a sucker for goofball badasses!

And yes, the Black Mist is mine.

I really should actually sit and read Partially Kissed Hero. I remember hearing about one of that writer's fics (I don't think it was the same one but I might be wrong) involving Nicolas Flamel being Gargamel and making the Stone by boiling Smurfs, and I laughed so hard I snorted phlegm in a painful manner.

I'm still boggling at the fact that Hubbard couldn't think of any better way for Jonnie to get the info than to have the bad guy teach him multiple languages and Euclidian geometry when all he actually needed to tell him was "dig here".

Ouch. OUCH. (Jonnie's genocides were sort of directed at real groups, but only by fictional proxies, so that's fair. Did you see how Silais explained the Tolneps might have been stand-ins for the British yet?)

I have absolutely no idea. According to Silais, there is no known connection between Hubbard and Scotland. If I had to guess, it's because he hated the English so he talked up their traditional enemies, though if that was the case he ought to have also talked up the Irish.
