If Raziel from Vegan Artbook and Takara from Daimiyo's Grandchild are too evil for you and their excuses stupid, you don't know this guy. The least lame thing about him is being a Count Bleck ripoff. His true indentity is Beast Boy, who is a very sympathetic character in his canon, and provides excellent humor. In the fic, he left the Titans because Terra wanted a normal life and left him for reasons where neither was to blame, Slade was.
What did our noble hero do? Use an evil artifact to turn into Count Logan, Ultimate Abuser 9000! And, pissed that others are happy couples and he is miserable, he decides to destroy everything so nobody will be happy. His power also comes from his extreme hatred. Don't you want him to die yet?
Because the author doesn't. He expects this thing to be sympathetic. A quote that describes him is "I will destroy her and the Resistance" for getting rejected. No, no, that's an insult to Kylo. Logan is even more despicable, since he planned to destroy the entire universe for getting rejected. The Count is also burning villages, blows up a former friend's planet for being happy with another of his friends, decapitates the husband and child of a princess for being happily married... If you ever find a Yandere or villain pathetic, think of this guy and feel better about them.
He emotionally abuses Terra, blaming her wanting to be normal and rejecting him for everything despicable he does, and also blames his friends for giving him legitimately helpful advice and not giving him Terra as a trophy. But why would he want Terra to be normal? She is nothing, but not to him. He loves her and so she should be his!
In the end, he does redeem himself, but only after getting exactly what he wanted. Terra apologizes for rejecting him and wanting to be normal, even though Slade had a big part of the blame, while the Titans apologize for not being supportive, even though they were, and he doesn't apologize for killing all these people and blaming them for it! Yeah, I hated when the first sentence of this paragraph was applied to Kylo, and I hate it more right now! Logan also fights against a worse enemy who betrayed him afterwards, and sacrifices himself in battle, THANK GOD. This doesn't erase his actions at all. At least I don't remember Terra kissing him, even though they became a couple again due to his manipulation.
Honestly, like Harrymort, if the author didn't try to whitewash the fucker, Logan would qualify as a complete monster. But apparently, in the series involving him, selfishness is a virtue. He is quite powerful, hard to put down, but someone has to do that for making Beast Boy look horrible!
