To be honest, in movies I can be emotional. Sometimes. Not always, though.

I have seen some godawful shit, and have shown you a character whom I really want to kill off and hate, hate, hate.

Today, we will speak about a character who deserves his own series. A character whom I actually told authors I had no problem with them shilling him. A character who really, really needs a hug. My main Sue hunter (along with Leah), Finn from Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.

How my blood boils when I think of his treatment, I can't even watch Star Wars now easily. Sorry, I am just that pissed.

In the trailer of TFA, he was presented as a Jedi. Boy, it was bait-and-switch, but he really, REALLY was worthy of being one. He chose not to kill innocent people while he was forced to. In an army that used BRAINWASHING. He felt grief in an army that had everyone use the same suits and didn't allow them a name. Later, he finds a prisoner, tortured by a romanticised abuser, and rescues him. Until then, he didn't even have a name. Then, however, he got one, and managed to do significant damage to a significant ship.

He crashed in the desert and onwards he did his best to help others. He saved Rey's life a lot of times, he killed his abusive captain, he blew up a fucking planet-busting ship on foot, crippling an entire fleet of those. Yet fans call him useless.

This post would be longer, but I can't make this longer. I can't because I remembered his treatment and the actions of the "real" heroes and am crying.

I will only say that he is the only pure good character in any media (not named Jonathan Joestar), and that he deserves nothing bad that happens to him.

And that in my verse he is one of the leads. (Hey, pure goodness can GIVE you flaws, like being naive and willing to give a lot and take nothing. If it plays like this, it's no Stu!)

Giving him love is the best way to fight against unfortunate implications.
