Carrie: well, look on the bright side Finn, your first hunt for creatures of the night went way better than mine... Long story short, my companions, and I were lead into a death trap of a house by a bunch of ghost children. Said house turned out to be used by some cult to sacrifice people a long time ago. I got possessed by one of said ghost children who wanted to keep me there forever. And Dixon, a friend, and a Bard who was terrible at his job, sacrificed himself so we could escape in one piece! (BTW Carrie is a Teifling;https://www.dndbeyond.com/races/tiefling. So yeah I’m glad they apparently got over her appearance!)
