While I give Finn the role of a lead he deserves, Rey is not completely sidelined. Here are the best things each Jedi does in Eyes of a Warrior alone.
Rey: Beating the Aquamentis
The Aquamentis is a gigantic rainbow dragon unicorn. It was a monster of Zant with powerful strength and magic. However, Rey, even after being impaled in the stomach, wins by electrocuting the dragon's big horn.
Finn: Fighting Zant
While Zant's forces were way too much for Stormwolf, it wasn't a total curbstomp. Finn, fighting alone through a horde of vampires, reaches the High General himself. The High General is even stronger than the already fearsome Archdemons and Finn still put up a brief fight and survived, even though he still lost badly.
Rey: Warning Finn about Palpatine
Finn is about to forgive Poe when the Emperor tries to corrupt him from beyond the grave. However, Rey informs Finn that it's Palpatine, making Finn's choice easier.
Finn: Forgiving Poe
At one point, Finn got mad at Poe for Slip's death and wanted revenge. However, with some influence from his friends and despite some bad influence from Palpatine, he made the right choice and forgave him.
Rey: Killing Jonnie Goodboy Tyler
Jonnie was an intergalactic tyrant. He had conquered his own dimension and blown up several planets with his army of fanatics. He also disrespected women and was strong enough to survive a direct headshot. Rey still fought and demolished him in a duel, even killing him with little to no effort.
Finn: Beating Jonnie without attacking
How did Jonnie got shot in the head? He had fought Finn beforehand. He threw a club that Finn cut down and then shot him, but underestimated Finn's brain and reflexes. Finn parried the shot with his saber and sent it right into Jonnie's head before luring his army to destruction.
Rey: Training Virago
Rey had healed Virago's PCOS and taught her how to fight. Considering Virago got to defeat several enemies, including the minor villain Stone Heart, by herself, Rey deserves some credit for her contribution.
Finn: Fighting Cookie Dough
Cookie Dough was not a weak foe. He had food related abilities, including ketchup half as hot as lava, explosive burgers and even a snack that healed him. Unlike the battle with Lightning, where Finn was fleeing and had to constantly outwit his foe to triumph, here he showed his new armor and abilities and won. However, Cookie delayed him too much for him to save Virago from Rhymey... but Finn still spared him.
Rey: Fully rejecting what she once was
Rey faced her greatest challenge yet in Matt Engarde, where she had to act as if she was still under the Force Dyad or Virago died, and her Force abilities for once could not save her. However, she proved to be a competent enough attorney to stall a skilled prosecutor while having a guilty client, figured out Rhymey was the one who got his hands dirty, trusted her friends to help her, and because of that, she managed to have her blackmail lifted. She proceeded to immediately turn on her evil client and overpower him in a brief fight even when it turned out he could fight back.
Finn: Foiling Engarde's dastardly plot
While Finn would not stop Matt if Rey didn't let him, he was the one who undermined the criminal the most. Finn didn't trust Ted from the start, even while Rey did. He proceeded to help Rey in any way possible. First he brought the evidence that exposed Rhymey. Then he exposed Talon Ted himself by pointing out his hate for Adrian. While his attempts to read Matt's mind only discovered some disgusting stuff, when Renee and Pierre killed Rhymey, Finn was the one to inform the whole courtroom. If he didn't do that, Rey would plead Not Guilty and everything would be for naught. Finally, he shoots Matt the only moment he gets the upper hand over Rey. Rey won the battle, but Finn made her job much, much easier at all parts of it.
