Note: Pan is far more powerful here than in New Timeline because he had lost half of his power after he was defeated by the Dark One.

Pan was playing games on his computer.

"Come on, I want to one-coin this game!"

He loses to the final boss and... is completely calm about this.

"Fuck this! I was this fucking close!"

Suddenly, he sees a rift opening and ripping apart buildings close to him.

"I don't know who is doing this, but have no time to inform the others. Time to kick some ass!"

He grabs all of his weapons and rushes to find who is at fault.

Soon he finds in the square of the city the source of all of this. A man with a frowned mask, a tall hat and a robe. He wears black and surprisingly has no handlebar mustache.

He immediately draws the Sword of Truth.

"You caused this?"

"I confess. The world is a miserable place, human. And I am going to bring the end."

"Omnicide is never the answer. I, myself, despise the crimes made for races, genders and religions. But I will never hurt an innocent because I am angry!"

"No, you don't understand" Logan whines. "There was a girl I loved, but she left me, faking amnesia! And my friends? They told me to move on! They all deserve to suffer! Why should others be happily married and I, Count Logan should be alone? That's not right!"

"No, but that does not justify murdering anyone who isn't you, Logan! You have gone too far, and I will not excuse you!"

"Then DIE!"

Logan sends ten beams of dark magic, one from each finger, destroying everything around him and killing many civilians with no remorse. Pan, however, dodges.

Then he seathes his sword and draws an assault rifle. "Eat lead, you piece of shit!"

However, the enemy shrugs off the bullets. He also manages to block a rocket.

"The Dark Prognosticus is too powerful for your weak ammunition, human! You will be punished for standing up to me!"

Logan proceeds to charge for a devastating punch, but Pan sidesteps and manages to land a Thunderpunch in Logan's face. "Rejection is awful. You have the right to be angry. But, honestly? You lost whatever moral high ground you had in the first murder."

"They deserve it! They all deserve it! One of my friends pretended to care about me, and then became a couple with another of my friends! They don't give a shit about me! Nobody loves me! That woman deserved to have her planet blown up!"

Pan dodges a barrage of left and right jabs and gets behind the Count, stabbing him in the back with the Sword of Truth.

"You blew up your friend's planet... because she was happy with someone and you were not? I suppose I also deserve to die for calling you a selfish asshole right now? Because that's what you are!"

Then he fills the sword with high voltage of electricity and gives Logan a shock.

Logan twitches and teleports above him.

"Why don't you feel no sympathy? Can't you see I am the victim? What I have become is all the fault of that foolish girl, who pretended I didn't even exist."

Then he summons meteors and crushes multiple buildings with people inside. "These are the people you want to protect, hero? You failed to save them! You are a failure! This is the fault of both you and the one who dumped me."

If looks could kill, Pan would tear Logan apart. "No. The only one to blame is you. Listen, I am not a hero... and that's because I kill pieces of shit like you in creative ways only."

Pan summons a thunderbolt from the sky and strikes the Count. Then he keeps striking and finally fills the Sword of Truth with energy.

Then he sends a sharp golden energy disc, the Strike of Truth, and it would have cut the killer in half if he didn't turn into a bat. The bat retaliates by spitting acid, which Pan dodges with a backflip and strikes with another Thunder Drop.

Logan turns back to his regular form and fires more dark beams. "You will not stop me! That foolish girl wanted change! And I will change things! I will change them by destroying existence!"

Pan blocks the beams with a wall of electricity and raises his magical shield, the Shield of Hope, to be sure. "Logan, since you blame others for things you did, I will do the same. You are just asking for someone to beat the shit out of you!"

Soon he is pushed back when the beams start getting through the wall and strike his shield. The Shield of Hope doesn't break, but Pan knows he has to counterattack. He casts a beam of sunlight from his sword, which is countered by a dark ray.

Logan hates changing tactics, but has to. He changes angle and fires two dark waves, one from each eye, which Pan barely blocks and gets stunned. Then Logan fires right in front of him and knocks him down on his back, and finally he rips part of Pan's suit and severely injures him with one last dark wave.

"You are brave, but weak and foolish. You deserve to live, to see what it is... to have everything taken from you."

"Again, you didn't deserve it."

"What did you say?"

"I... say... you didn't deserve it."

"Good. Now you understand why I am doing this."

"Not really. You could stand up for yourself in other ways. You chose the worst one. You were too good for her if you are telling the truth."

"But... I love her!"

Pan's hands start glowing.

"What you are doing now..."

And he unleashes his strongest stream of lightning, one million Volts.

"... IS NOT LOVE!"

Logan is hurt by the attack, but mostly but the words.

Pan tries to get up. "You are going to slaughter everyone, all because you don't want things to change!"

"Not everyone. Some will live. They will live to see everything burn. They will suffer to see what I am getting through!"

Logan charges at Pan and avoids the first punch, then he punches Pan in the gut three times. Pan vomits blood in all three and Logan lands a flying roundhouse kick to his face, knocking him down.

As Pan struggles to get up, the Count kicks him in the ribs savagely. "Wimp. You never stood a chance against me. No matter if you fought demons, I am able to punch through stars. I didn't show you half of my power."

Pan gets up and punches him in the ear. The Count punches him back the same way and makes him dizzy. Then he kicks him in the chest, winding him.

He is about to teleport away, victorious, and continue his rampage. But a little girl who saw her parents dead charges at him with a stick.

"M... monster!"

"Monster? I am not a monster."

He grabs the five-year-old's head and is about to rip it off.

Pan, hearing these words from another vicious deity, starts crawling towards Logan.

The Count snickers. He will make the girl see her parents again.

"I am a G..."

A bright yellow hand taps his shoulder.

Logan lets go of the child and turns. For a second, he sees Pan, a yellow aura surrounding him, the ground shaking beneath his feet, his blue eyes blazing, his teeth, while bloody, gritted.

Logan thought he was hated when his friends just told him to move on. But in that expression Pan had, Logan realized...

... that only now, after he became this monster, was he truly hated by someone.

Pan's left hand is filled with electricity. And a Thunderpunch connects with Logan's mask, breaking half of it and sending him flying out of the city.

Then the young man drops on his knees.

"I am sorry. I couldn't save your parents."

The child hugs him.

"You beat the bad man. Thank you."

Pan collapses, exhausted.
