Five characters from my fics who can beat a RedEye and five who can't
The RedEye Tribe are basically the T-Rex equivalent of Sauria. Savage, carnivourous and immune to most attacks, not everyone can beat one of those beasts.
So, who stands out as able to do so?
Can: Jessika Pava
Jess is a member of the Black Squadron, and she is an ace pilot. On a ship, she can easily outmanuever a RedEye, dodging its tail and teeth, and even if her blasters won't work, her torpedoes and charged shots will.
Can't: Alix
Alix is very versatile with her forms, and she can easily outsmart the beast if the environment favors her. Alas, she depends too much on it here, as, for all her forms, she doesn't have a single attack with enough brute force to get through the beast's defenses. So, she will merely escape.
Can: Finn
Finn has fought powerful monsters before, and this one won't be too tough currently. Even if the blaster won't work and the lightsaber puts him in danger, the Force and the Shockbolt can take down one of those beasts. The detonators and the Microwave Beam can also be effective, and the new Cannon upgrade is overkill.
Can't: Emily Young
Emily might not be weak recently, having a magical frying pan that can shoot oil and fiery eggs, but she is still unable to scratch a beast like a RedEye in a straight fight. She also is not fast enough to escape.
Can: The Nutty Poet
The Poet might be a small woman with a paintbrush, but don't be fooled! She can make ice to make the dino slip, and with her paintbrush she can paint a bazooka or grenades, and basically something that can damage the RedEye. Even if the RedEye gets close, an ice wall can block its way.
Can't: Shailiha
One of the new members of Stormwolf, this former princess is an apprentice in magic and a good swordswoman. While she is skilled and can attack with several spells, she is not strong enough to do any real damage, and the butterfly wings she can grow won't save her skin.
Can: SkullFace
While he only attacks them in self-defense, SkullFace has shown to be beyond a single RedEye in combat. He freezes one of the mighty dinosaurs solid with his breath while fighting a Yuuzhan Vong Warbeast, so he can deal with a single of one of those dinos easily.
Can't: Robert the Fox
This swordsman is decent for a normal human, and has also a blade made out of Beskar. However, to hurt a RedEye he must get close to the giant beast, which makes it very possible for it to eat him or swat him aside with its tail, meaning he won't be able to win even though he can hurt the beast.
Can: Darth Crona
This Sith is dangerous enough to be unpersoned, and he has a few dirty tricks. His poisonous arrows might be countered, but his lightsaber probably not. And while he will struggle to reach the RedEye and hit anywhere but the feet, he can use Force Lightning, or, worse, crush its lungs. Don't mess with a Sith.
Can't: Wiktor
This monster is a dangerous brute, like the RedEye, and is also completely immune to many weak attacks. While in terms of brute force they are comparable, the Wiktor never shuts up. It keeps taunting and taunting, until the RedEye decides to just maul it with its teeth.

Fun fact: in my stories, Jessika has actually won at least one duel with a named enemy.

Unfortunately, Tallie Lintra is too dead for me to do the same... but maybe her revival could tempt Jessika into turning evil? Or at least someone will try to tempt her with that?
