Two characters I made IC by complete accident

I will not munch words. After TROS, due to a certain part of the fandom warping the movies to satisfy their twisted morality, I hated Rey. Mostly because they showed her as a monster who only cares about Kylo's pretty face and her friends supposedly aren't good enough for her, and that her being helped by Finn or acknowledging him would hurt her pride.

My response in my fics was to have the main villain poison her mind with these and having Rey herself be actually someone who does care for her friends, so I won't ignore the positive traits of hers. And the end result was someone who, while haughty and prone to mistakes, was still a hero, a caring friend, a victim of manipulation who still fought back for a while, and a defender of free will. And her respecting Finn doesn't hurt her, only the villain who tried to act through her.

Which, if we ignore anything meta, is the truth. My complaints are mostly in a meta level. (Which is why I think an "evil author" Big Bad fits)

Also, Talon Ted. I made him what he became to improve him. I wanted to make him smart instead of a self-destructive moron and give him an actual agenda, while still having him a piece of shit (arguably worse than before, as Talon Prime was all bark, while mine bites).

Turns out... that's what his author could be going for in paper. And I know because he complained in all the Ron the Death Eater about his characters... except this one!

He still is a manipulator, shows some wits but uses them for the wrong reasons (planning a body double to not get his dream job? What a waste of a mind) and there is the villainous mastermind song which I hadn't read... basically he fantasised he was how I portray him as.

Which, to be honest? I found hilarious due to it being a total coincidence.
