Colin should not be fired
About the script of Colin Trevorrow, I saw nothing wrong with it. Everyone does something important.
Would like to point this. Colin didn't show Rey and Kylo's bond as true love, and instead had Kylo plunging deeper into the Darkness. Plus, what truly saves the day is a Stormtrooper and civilian uprising. Instead of abuse, murder and genocide apologism, we had glorification of free will! And Finn gets some well-deserved credit, while Kylo faces consequences.
Palpatine wasn't revived, so Anakin was still the Chosen One, and Mortis appeared!
And Colin was fired because? From now, this is my canon, doesn't undo ROTJ and doesn't condone poisonous messages, instead it gives the characters justice.
But no, that would be too good to conclude a legendary series.
Well, even now, I don't think Rey missed her soulmate. I think she will forget Ben while enjoying a nice black sausage.
I do believe giving the faceless victims who were forced to murder a voice was awesome, while pretending a mass murderer is a woobie... is pathetic.
Colin should make Episode 9, it's my canon now, because he made something for people with the ability to think.
Abrams also did a good job, but he relied on fanservice. Any fanservice. That said, the original script is still better.
