Why Din is still a Mandalorian in my series
I saw the story of the last episodes of the Book of Boba Fett. And I believe Din's arc does make sense, and him facing consequences for breaking the rules to do what's right.
But, since Din in my fics came first, I had a different idea.
Din, aware traditionalism was actually obstructive to protect people or just to succeed in missions, abolished the rule of never removing the helmet. He, as the king, who had the Darksaber, could do that, and it was the only time he really used his authority.
Traditionalists fought him one by one, three fights in a row, as they couldn't fight him at once, for the Darksaber, and if he lost he had to be exiled. He beat all of them.
