Five pilots of my fics better than Jessika (and five worse)
Jessika is an ace pilot, that pretty much is clear. However, there are pilots better and worse than her.
Better: Poe Dameron
Poe Dameron is the best pilot of the Resistance and its leader. In canon, he blew up Starkiller Base and several other enemies. Here, he repeatedly showed his fighting skills by single-handedly beating giant monsters, big ships and enemy pilots.
Worse: J'org J'star
J'org is no pushover as a pilot. He has destroyed many Yaret-Kor, coralskippers, enemy pilots and even took down Trias of the Alpha Squadron. However, he was no match for Terex and is the only Black Squadron member in my stories who died. Jessika, being one of the most experienced pilots in the Black Squadron, is more skilled than him.
Better: Wedge Antilles
Jessika is a great pilot who has taken out several foes and even Star Destroyers. But she is not a legend like Wedge. Wedge has survived raids to two Death Stars, and in the first one he faced Vader himself. In my stories, he also personally landed the final blow to the dread weapon, shocking even Poe.
Worse: Rose Tico
Rose is a decent pilot among aces. She mostly has talent as a mechanic, but she learned to fly well so she can defend bombers like her deceased sister. She is very inexperienced compared to Jessika herself and got shot down several times. While competent, Rose is not as good as Jessika.
Better: Kaeden
Kaeden is basically like an evil Poe. The only non-Force user with a very high rank in the Remnant, he has proven himself Poe's equal several times. The best pilot of the Remnant is more skilled than Jessika, who can take him out but only with help.
Worse: Terex
Granted, Terex was weakened beforehand by J'org, but is still the most competent villain Jessika personally shot down. Still, Terex had trouble with even pilots less experienced than Jessika (J'org and Rose), who succeeded at saving Poe from two Alpha Squadron members at once. Terex is skilled, and has killed a Black Squadron member, but is still not as good as Jess.
Better: Chewbacca
Being Han's co-pilot for so long, Chewbacca usually is the pilot of the Falcon in my fics. The Falcon is not so great by itself, it just has very good pilots, and Chewbacca is no exception. Thanks to him, Finn's turret and Rey's Force powers can decimate foes witout worrying about getting hit... much.
Worse: Kazuda Xiono
Kaz idolized Poe and wanted to join the Squadron. He succeeded with hard work and still has to prove himself several times. He is an ace now, but still has trouble with too many or too strong foes. Jessika was in the Squadron since he was still fresh, and she has more feats and less crashes than him.
Better: Lando Calrissian
This guy blew up Death Star 2 in canon and led the Battle of Exegol too. The leader of the Cloud City, Lando fought few times in my stories because he is old and also has to protect the base, but he still devastated several Yaret-Kor in the Battle of Naboo. Jessika is a great pilot, but Lando has her beat.
Worse: Trias
Trias is useful because his enhanced senses can spot stealthed ships and ammunition. He is also able to put up a good fight against the Black Squadron. However, in an 1 v 1 against Jessika, he would lose horribly, as he sustained severe damage from her when tailed. He did cripple Rose for life, but got taken out by J'org shortly after. Being the least skilled Alpha Squadron member, Trias is fearsome to most pilots, but not Jess.
