Five characters that aren't mine and have really, really been upgraded
The reason why I started this series was because some characters were wasted in their canons. Apart from arcs, these guys also got power upgrades. But which character is the most upgraded?
5. Alix
Alix in her series could shapeshift to a bird and a wolf, but while she did fight, her destiny was to... give children. In my story, she is one of the strongest fighters and is able to fire feathers as projectiles, take on elite Starfleet guards, and even take out ships.
4. Talon Ted
The original is from the fic "Friendship is Failure" and would honestly lose to Rose Tico in a brawl. He was a moron who ruined his life for his stupid pride. In my story, he is actually Matt Engarde, and a Matt who has now training in combat and learned from past mistakes. He uses a general of an army as a pawn, gloats in a way that makes sure the heroes are still stuck with him and nearly wins, only not doing so because Rey was no longer her imprinted self. In the end, he still comes close to escape and made the victory of the heroes pyrrhic.
3. Nines
Also known in my story as The Loyalist, Nines was once a Stormtrooper so good in melee he overpowered Finn in The Force Awakens. Even though Finn got a buff himself (more on that later), the other former Stormtrooper got strong enough to catch up to him... twice! He became a demon with superhuman speed and control of Hellfire, and it took a full Jedi Knight Finn who had to earn his power so he could defeat Nines alone and for good.
2. Leah Clearwater
Leah in Twilight existed as a strawman. She was the fastest in her pack, but also the smallest and thus the weakest. She struggled with one newborn vampire, and Jacob pushed her away to finish it himself. In my story, she can take on hordes of vampires by herself, has beaten even two fearsome Vampire Lords, can make afterimages, is so fast her fists make sonic waves and so strong she causes earthquakes. Finally, she helped kill an Archdemon and drew blood from a reality warper. Doubt Meyer would allow her to do these things. She is a really close second.
Honorable mentions: Captain Shaina, Jannah, Poe Dameron.

The story starts with Finn standing up to Rey's nonsense and taking back his life. He could take out soldiers and even some stronger enemies like Phasma, but his only Force power was to sense things he couldn't see. In my story, he can read minds, home blaster bolts and bombs with the Force, is very skilled with the lightsaber, can cut down twenty vampires, killed one Vampire Lord and an Archdemon, though he had help against the latter, has a heavy cannon that is powered by microwaves and even beat at least two Dark Side users all by himself.
