Five characters of One Piece my version of Jack the Ripper can beat and five he can't
Posted a new story, based on my OCs and Jack the Ripper is the starter villain and the Big Bad's cover.
Jack is still the serial killer that targets prostitutes, and in the link is the reason why he was revived. Stronger, tougher, with far more knives. But even he has his limits. Whom can he beat?
Can: Monkey D. Luffy (pre-timeskip)
Yes, Luffy is far stronger than him and yes, his Haki would be the reason he stands a chance at all. However, Jack is pragmatic and most attacks include a barrage of daggers, a spin with knives and jump attacks also with knives. All of which can damage the main character. This can go either way. Though I put the parenthesis bc someone can argue that Gear Fourth is too much for Jack and it is.
Can't: Buggy the Clown
And Jack's advantage against Luffy backfires here. Luffy is more competent than Jack and Jack is more competent than Buggy... but the clown can't be cut down at all due to his power. Which makes all of the Ripper's attacks utterly useless.
Can: Usopp
Like Luffy, Usopp can actually win against Jack, but only in a very very long range. However, if the Ripper gets close and starts slashing, no hammer will save Usopp, as his foe is very fast and strong.
Can't: Enel
Jack can dodge a lightning bolt with his reflexes. However, the moment Pan got serious, the serial killer couldn't even escape. Enel can become lightning, so he can't be cut by knives, and make thunder fall from the sky from very far away. Plus, his Observation Haki means Jack can't ambush him, and even a lucky hit can't make Enel stay dead.
Can: Kuro
Kuro is lightning fast and can use sharp claws similar to Wolverine's. But he can't control his full power. Jack has superhuman reflexes, can take a lot of punishments and also is skilled with sharp objects. In terms of cunning, they are also the same, with Jack making sure not to fight the Resistance unless he really has to.
Can't: Donxiquote Doflamingo
This Warlord is the most evil and ruthless of all. While Jack was murdering innocent women and then running from the law, Doflamingo was being the tyrannical law. Doflamingo can pull strings and control people or even impale them, and his Birdcage is able to easily destroy a city. Finally, Doflamingo has no exploitable weakness for Jack to exploit and will even make him a puppet.
Can: Axe Hand Morgan
Morgan was the very first threat Luffy faced and had help against. He was a corrupt Marine who abused his authority. But when his power is having an axe hand and a metal jaw, he is sorely lacking against the supercharged serial killer.
Can't: Katakuri
Katakuri can turn into mochi, and his style is "I am you but better". He is experienced and had hardly fell on his back. He has honor, and would be disgusted by Jack. He would turn into mochi and avoid the multiple daggers, then create twice as many and fill Jack with holes.
Can: Very Good
A Marine officer whose fruit isn't immune to sharp objects. Which means he is vulnerable to all the devastating attacks of the serial killer. Also, the head is a weak point, and if a stray knife gets it, he is done for.
Can't: Roronoa Zoro
Sure, Jack can very easily escape him. But he can't beat him. Zoro is extremely skilled with the blades, and instead of many knives, he fights with many SWORDS, and the strongest can cut mountains to pieces.
